When to consult

Gradual blurring of vision, glare or halos around lights (suspected cataract or glaucoma)
Sudden shower of floaters, flashes of light, visual field curtain or distorted central vision
Red/painful eye, stye/chalazion, chronic dry eyes or tearing
Diabetic retinopathy screening or childhood myopia control

Pupil dilation drops blur near vision and increase light sensitivity for 4–6 hours; bring sunglasses and do not drive after the appointment
